LOCATION
|
ROTC building on The Johns Hopkins Homewood campus.
Map link:
In the ROTC building. Bldg. No. 40 in the map http://www.jhu.edu/~tour/map.html
The building is on The Johns Hopkins Homewood campus entrance at San Martin Drive - see map below.
It is located on the NW corner of the map.
Direction:
The ROTC building is in the northwest corner of campus (just southwest of the Hopkins stadium).
Traveling westward on West University Parkway from Charles Street, turn left at the first traffic light (that's where 39th
Street, coming from the north, is intersecting West University). Your "left turn" sends you southward on San Martin Drive.
Avoid the first two lefts from San Martin and take the third left toward the stadium playing fields. You will
see the ROTC building apparently on your right, but as you should turn right, you will pass the ROTC building on your
left. Park and enter by the stairson thed south side.
After the dance, leave by the same stairs because other
doors will sound an alarm which is not easy to dance to.
The dancing is always free; all are welcome. On this
21st of October we will begin classes with the Johns Hopkins Free University. There should be a lot of new faces
and all those who know some steps can help with the teaching.
See you there.
OTHER OCCASIONAL LOCATIONS:
3107 North Charles Street
(Homewood Friends Meetinghouse).
Baltimore, MD 21218-3803
Enter from the right side of the building (the south side) down stairs at the rear.

Who Can Join?
We invite anybody interested in the ballroom dancing or just to try. This is open to all.
There is no fee. There is no commitment except to yourself. Just like every thing else, some will learn more quickly
than others. At the end, that is after few weeks or months, those who lag behind initially, will catch up.
Benefits of Joining
There are several benefits doing ballroom dancing. Dancers become good friends and we have
a great time when we get together. Of course we also have other common interest/s, and we hope to further our cause.
Obviously, there is great health benefit one can derive from doing ballroom dancing.
